Description: Successful service industry plumbing companies need a great plumber with professional customer service and trade skills to handle the service needs of customers
- Receive and answer within reason all incoming telephone calls and messages from Dispatch/management daily to coordinate schedule and support the needs of the business
- Utilizing dispatch software as needed to create invoices, document the history of the jobs through both notes as well as photographic documentation, travel ETA, and Job progress on each job before being dispatched to the next one
- Handle calls for a variety of customer needs
- Successfully diagnose a variety of issues
- Communicate the value levels of different options
- Communicate with customers to educate and support the decision-making process
- Appropriately use supplies for each job, and communicate on supply usage
- Successfully install a job to meet quality expectations of code, and professionalism
- Show Installation throughout before and after method
- Communicate with dispatch/dispatch Software on successful completion
- Company vehicle:
- Maintain a valid driving license
- Maintain the personal driving records to facilitate the privilege of a company vehicle
- Maintain the safety of company vehicles through safe driving and secure staging
- Take home privilege based on maintaining sales goals, and safe behavior
- professionally handle all interactions with customers in keeping with company standards
- Attend and participate in mandatory training
- Maintain safety expectations of Oak Plumbing at all times
- Other duties to be assigned by management
Sales Expectations:
- Maintain job average closing ratio above 75% minimum
- Maintain minimum monthly sales above $75,000
- Maintain a minimum margin of 60%
- Review sales performance with management monthly and quarterly for opportunities and performance.
Direction:
- Train other members of Oak Plumbing staff on the procedure, tactics, and KPI for successful Sales
- Direct and follow up with installation personnel to manage the completion of sold work. Note and record issues that require intervention and resolution
Experience/Skills required:
- Mechanical Plumbing knowledge, Positive Communication skills, Organization, Follow-up, and knowledge of Service Titan are a necessity
- Ownership of own tools and equipment
- Exemplary record of sales and customer service
- Empathic communication techniques
- Sales Techniques and person-to-person communication
- Lift 80 lbs regularly, crawl, twist, and work in tight confined spaces
Job Expectations:
- As Sales Advisor:
- Amount above base Commission conditional on the completion of the following expectations. (Please note not following these expectations can and will also result in disciplinary actions up to and including termination.):
- Job Detail level, pictures, billing meeting Margins, (Cost of materials must be less than 20% of job value and Direct labor must be less than 20%) and cycle time of closure meeting expectations
- Parts list recorded into Service Titan on the day of sale. This is to ensure parts are ordered in a timely fashion
- Multi-Day jobs to require layout time on the first day, and closing time on the last day to collect and quality check
- Support all customer concerns
- Completion of closed job review with manager
Schedule and hours:
- Full-time: Monday-Friday with Intermittent weekend and after-hours support
- Time off to be scheduled >48hrs notice
Compensation:
- Salary: $1280 weekly
- Commission: 20% minus direct labor monthly
