Job Description :
We are working with a dynamic and rapidly growing boutique law firm seeking an attorney with at least three years of civil defense litigation experience for their Princeton, NJ office. The ideal candidate will assist in defending clients in a wide range of civil defense litigation matters from complex commercial disputes to personal injury claims.
Their ideal candidate will contribute to day-to-day case management, which includes communicating directly with partners and clients, drafting pleadings, motions, and briefs, managing discovery, attending fact and expert depositions, court appearances, trial preparation and trials. Knowledge of state court practice and procedure is required, as is strong analytical, organizational, research and writing skills. The firm will consider candidates with transferable litigation skills from another civil / commercial litigation practice or candidates who work in a plaintiffs' practice with an interest in transitioning to a defense-based practice. Admission to the NJ Bar, or the ability to become admitted upon hire, is required. Admissions to NY or PA are a plus but not required.
