We are working with a national insurance coverage law firm with offices in Northeast, Florida, and California seeking Associates with at least four years of litigation experience for their office located in the Greater Bridgeport, CT area. For the candidates with the requisite experience, the firm will consider a Senior Associate or Of Counsel title.
The firm represents policyholders in insurance coverage disputes and represents a broad range of clients including non-profit institutions, universities, hospitals, municipalities, utilities, small companies, international corporations, and individuals.
The ideal candidates will have experience litigating complex insurance claims, analyzing and drafting insurance policy language, and / or providing insurance coverage opinions. In addition, they will have significant State or Federal court litigation experience, including drafting pleadings, briefs, and motions; taking depositions; managing discovery; conducting legal research; appearing at court; and preparing for trial. The firm will consider candidates with defense side insurance coverage / litigation experience that are interested in transitioning to a policyholder-based practice. Admission to the CT Bar is required. Admission to the NY or NJ Bar is a plus but not required.
