We are currently seeking a full-time Credit Card Specialist to join our Credit Administration team located in our Oakdale, CA location. This position will report to our Loan Administration manager. The Credit Card Specialist role requires monitoring account activity to prevent fraud and ensure customer satisfaction. Ultimately, the Credit Card Specialist aims to foster long-term relationships with clients while contributing to the overall success of the organization.
Minimum Qualifications:
- High school diploma or equivalent; a degree in finance, business, or a related field is preferred.
- 2 years of related experience
- Knowledge of card systems and compliance regulations.
- Works well with others as teamwork is essential for success
- Proven experience in customer service or sales, preferably in the banking or financial services sector.
- Strong analytical skills with the ability to assess creditworthiness and financial risk.
Preferred Qualifications:
- Experience with credit card processing systems and financial software.
- Knowledge of credit regulations and compliance standards.
- Certification in credit analysis or financial services.
Responsibilities:
- Interact with customers through direct call contact and emails to respond to cardholder inquiries.
- Resolve disputes through managing lost/stolen accounts and handle fraud cases, ensuring the security and trust of our cardholders.
- Ensure compliance with all regulatory requirements, maintaining the integrity and reliability of our operations.
- Update cardholder information and process account changes efficiently, keeping our records current and accurate.
- Generate insightful reports and provide recommendations for process improvements, contributing to the continuous enhancement of our services.
