Overview
The Kitchen Supervisor assists the Executive Chef in supervising the kitchen, delegating work assignments, and responsible that all food for concession stands and banquets are prepared on time and up to Oak View Group’s quality standards.
The Kitchen Supervisor must maintain excellent attendance and be available to work events as scheduled per business needs.
This role will pay an hourly wage of $23.

Responsibilities
• Must show demonstrated ability to meet Oak View Group’s standard for excellent attendance• Go over daily BEO’s and concession menus with the Chef• Must make detailed daily prep sheets and go over with the staff all quantities, times, and locations and who is delegated to accomplish work assignments• Responsible for delegating daily work assignments to culinary staff• Responsible in assisting the Chef in training culinary staff to prepare food up to Oak View Group’s standards and recipes• Responsible in assisting the Chef in the sanitation of the kitchen.• Responsible in assisting the Chef in the storage, and rotation of food in the walk-in refrigerators, freezers and dry store room• Responsible for overseeing the preparation of hot and cold foods for concession stands and banquets• Create a daily menu for employee’s dining room and delegate its preparation.• Assist the Chef in food ordering• Communicate daily with the Chef and discuss all necessary topics to insure proper operational flow.• Responsible for assisting with regular inventory counts
Qualifications
• Ability to communicate with employees, co-workers, and management staff and guests in a clear, business-like, and respectful manner which focuses on generating a positive, enthusiastic and cooperative work environment.• Ability to speak, read and write in English• Possess a food a valid food handling certificate (Servesafe)• Must be able to train the culinary staff of all aspects of cooking. procedures and standards• Must have knowledge hot foods, stocks, soups, sauces and be prepare all foods using a recipe• Must know how to roast all meats, poultry and fish items to proper temperatures• Must have knowledge for cold food, salads, fruit trays, cheese trays and Garde Manger skills• Must have good knife skills• Must be able to use equipment like steamers, kettles, fryers, grille, ovens, and braiser.• Must be able to read a BEO and break down prep assignments to culinary staff• Must understand storing procedures for all food items as well as labeling and dating items• Must meet Oak View Group’s grooming standards• 5 years of culinary experience• 2 years of high volume, foodservice management experience• 2 year foodservice certification
