Overview
The Warehouse Lead is responsible for the effective running of warehouse operations including inventory, receiving, purchase-order tracking, clean-up and organization, transfers and equipment maintenance reporting. The warehouse lead is also responsible for properly receiving and storing all food, beverages and dry goods meeting HACCP, Oak View Group’s and local sanitation standards for the Atlantic City Convention Center and Boardwalk Hall.
The Warehouse Lead must maintain excellent attendance and be available to work a variable event-driven schedule, which includes evenings and weekends. Open availability, professional presentation, outstanding interpersonal skills, self-direction and strong decision-making skills are required.
This role will pay an hourly wage of $17.49.

Responsibilities
• Must show demonstrated ability to meet Oak View Group’s standard for excellent attendance• Responsible to receive food, beverage and paper products, read and check off invoices for all deliveries• Responsible in the storage, and rotation of food in the walk-in refrigerators, freezers and dry store room• Must store all products using the FIFO method• The storage of all items must be organized and stored in its same proper place every delivery• All products must be labeled and dated.• Responsible for keeping all food storage areas clean and free of debris • Must monitor the temperatures of refrigerators and freezers to ensure proper temperature • Perpetual inventories must be done daily• Communicate daily with the Chef/Kitchen Supervisor and discuss all necessary topics to insure proper operational flow. • Maintain and manage the sanitation and organizational systems of all warehouse storage areas.• Responsible for ensuring that purchase order system is adhered to for all orders received at each warehouse; verify proper specification, size, quantity, etc. of goods received; supervise proper labeling, dating and stocking of supplies.• Oversee and ensure that appropriate stocking levels are met for each event; rotate and maintain integrity of product.• Ensure proper transfer process of product between locations, including follow-up documentation. • Conduct walk through of the commissary, warehouse and storage areas after the completion of the day to ensure all areas are clean.• Minimum 2 years of foodservice/hospitality experience; similar venue experience a plus.• Forklift certification a plus• Food service certification

Physical Dimensions:Performing the duties of this position involves extensive and continuous standing and walking. Routine activities require the employee to be able to reach with hands and arms, sit, walk, stoop, kneel, crouch and crawl. The employee is frequently required to lift up to 50 pounds.
