Culinary Specialist

Job Summary: Oak Village Healthcare is seeking a highly skilled Culinary Specialist to join our team. As a key member of our dining services department, you will be responsible for preparing and serving meals according to planned menus and portion control guidelines. Key Responsibilities:

1. Prepare and serve meals in accordance with established standards and procedures.
2. Coordinate food preparation with meal serving schedules to ensure timely delivery.
3. Learn and adhere to menu items, portion sizes, plate presentation, and special diet orders.
4. Operate kitchen equipment safely and efficiently.
5. Maintain cleanliness of kitchen equipment, utensils, and appliances.

Qualifications:

1. High school diploma or equivalent required.
2. One (1) year of experience in dining services within a hospital, skilled nursing facility, or similar healthcare setting preferred.
3. Must be 18 years or older to apply.
