JOB DECRIPTION
The Financial Advisor role is responsible for managing current and cultivating new financial planning client relationships. This position will work individually as well as in collaboration with an advisory team to help OakCrest clients achieve their financial goals. The Advisor is accountable for meeting firm objectives for client retention, growth, and customer service.
Key Areas of Responsibility:
- · Manage client relationships and/or provide client relationship support for our financial planning clients
- · Support our clients by providing comprehensive investment solutions and retirement plans to meet their goals now and for their future
- · Develop retirement projections, investment analyses, risk management analyses, and estate plans with subsequent recommendations using our Emoney planning software
- · Maintain and grow client relationships, assets, and revenue
- · Help in delivering a complement of support, customer service and other related resources to your OakCrest team and clients
- · Respond to client requests in a professional manner, continually aspiring to deliver excellent client service
- · Assist the firm in marketing efforts to attract new clients
- · Meet all OakCrest compliance requirements and operational processes
- · Actively participate in training and development to continually improve ability to provide best advice and optimal service for clients
Qualification Requirements:
- · Passion for helping clients achieve their financial goals
- · Bachelor’s degree
- · Minimum of 3 years experience in personal financial planning (Investment advisory or insurance industries)
- · Series 7 & 66 (or 63/65) licensed
- · CFP Designation preferred (or future desire to obtain) with good command of financial planning, investment planning, estate planning, and insurance planning
- · Excellent written and verbal communication skills
- · Strong organizational, analytical and interpersonal skills
- · Desire to work in a team environment and be a team player
- · Ability to manage and process multiple tasks efficiently and accurately
- · Warm, friendly personability with the ability to connect with people and develop long term relationships
- · Familiarity with our current systems is a plus, but not required: Redtail, Emoney
