What are the responsibilities and job description for the Dietary Aide - prn position at Oakdale Community Hospital?
POSITION SUMMARY:
The Dietary Associate performs a variety of nutritional services duties which may include, preparation of hot foods for patients as ordered by the physician, for employees, for visitors. May assist with catered events. Performs a variety of patient/employee food services duties such as dish room duties, as well as other related tasks to ensure the highest quality of services.
POSITION REQUIREMENTS:
Experience: 1-2 years of experience in a field of cooking and food service for a healthcare facility with regular and modified diets and preparation services preferred for all life spans.
Some knowledge of cleaning procedures and /or dish washing is desirable.
Education: High School Diploma or equivalent preferred.
Special Qualifications: Able to exercise some initiative in maintaining kitchen in a clean and orderly condition. Able to learn operation of equipment and simple food preparation tasks.
