Summary of Purpose
Performs paraprofessional duties in support of the Orchard Ridge Testing Center. Typical duties for all paraprofessionals are listed below. The employee is expected to work in a multi-cultural, diverse working environment.
Typical Duties
This description is intended to indicate the types of duties and responsibilities requested of the employee assigned this title. It is not intended to be an exhaustive list of all the duties and responsibilities that may be required:
TESTING CENTER:
1. Schedules, administers, proctors, scores, and records college placement tests, professional
certifications for various industries, and make-up exams, when applicable.
2. Utilizes college software to determine testing eligibility, input scores, log, scan and e-mail
writing samples.
3. Works with college staff to create testing schedules for the campus.
4. Works with external community partners to create testing schedules, if applicable.
5. Creates and maintains spreadsheets regarding testing data.
6. Communicates Testing Center activity (e.g., schedules, web updates, flyers, etc.) to
appropriate faculty, staff and external community.
Minimum Education and Experience
EDUCATION: An earned Associate’s degree or higher
AND
EXPERIENCE: Must possess and maintain a current and valid Michigan driver's license.
