About the Role
We are seeking a seasoned Food and Beverage Director to lead our team at Oakland Hills Country Club. As a key member of our management team, you will be responsible for overseeing the culinary operations, including menu design, wine lists, and special events. Your expertise in managing staff, controlling costs, and providing exceptional member experiences will be invaluable in this role.
Responsibilities
- Develop and manage budgets for food and beverage operations.
- Directly supervise the Beverage Manager, Event Supervisor, Dining Room Manager, and other outlet managers.
- Assist in recruitment, training, supervision, and termination of food and beverage staff.
- Help plan and approve organizational charts, staffing plans, and scheduling.
- Monitor employee records to minimize overtime and maintain labor costs within budget.
- Establish quantity and quality output standards for personnel in all positions.
Requirements
- A four-year college or university degree in Hospitality Management or Culinary Arts.
- Four to six years of experience as a Food and Beverage Director with at least four years in a similar position in a fine dining setting.
