The Inventory Manager is responsible for maintaining accurate and compliant cannabis inventory across all Cultivation and Production vaults within the Company’s facility. This position requires a high attention to detail and compliance mindset in order to ensure the Company is meeting all requirements under state law.
Responsibilities & Duties
- Maintains accurate and compliant inventory across all vault spaces, including flower and processed product
- Responsible for overseeing internal and external transactions, including physical and electronic transfer of product between departments and for sale
- Completes required data entry (logging transactions, transfers, and daily intake/outgoing product) using Excel and state electronic recordkeeping systems in order to maintain compliance
- Coordinates with Security to maintain and update vault access list and ensures access is limited only to authorized personnel
- Completes periodic audits for internal and state compliance purposes
- Monitors and tracks quality control of incoming/outgoing product and packaging
- Provides a weekly inventory report and a biweekly packaging position report to the Finished MGR and GM
- Serves as the main point of contact for inventory issues with the Cannabis Control Commission
- Supervises Inventory Coordinators by monitoring attendance, performance, and adherence to company policies and procedures; conducting annual performance evaluations; providing coaching and support; and providing corrective action as needed
