Duties and Responsibilities
General Building Maintenance
- Adjust, fix, or replace doors, cabinets, furniture, bathroom partitions, and windows.
- Replace stained or damaged ceilings, flooring, wall protection, and ceramic tiles.
- Change light bulbs, fixtures, ballasts, switches, and receptacles, and reset circuit breakers.
- Perform minor plumbing repairs, including replacing faucet washers and toilet seats.
- Patch and paint walls to maintain a clean and professional appearance.
- Conduct roofing, blacktop, cement, masonry, and block repairs.
- Tour buildings and grounds to identify and document facility deficiencies.
- Complete assigned preventative maintenance tasks and respond to emergency work orders.
- Move, assemble, and install free-standing and wall-hung equipment as needed.
- Coordinate with specific trades for specialized repairs beyond general maintenance.
Janitorial Responsibilities
- Perform routine cleaning of high-traffic areas, including hallways, offices, restrooms, and breakrooms.
- Remove trash and recycling from designated areas and dispose of it properly.
- Restock paper products, soap dispensers, and other janitorial supplies.
- Sweep, mop, and vacuum floors as needed to maintain cleanliness.
- Wipe down and sanitize high-touch surfaces to uphold hygiene standards.
- Assist with snow removal and de-icing of walkways to ensure safe access.
- Other duties that may be required from time to time to improve operations and profitability and ensure required tasks and goals are completed across operations
- Adherence to individual and team key-performance indicators (“KPIs”) as directed by manager

Education and Experience
- High School/GED or equivalent.
- Certificate of completion from a vocational school in building maintenance or a similar program is preferred.
- Three to five years of working experience in building maintenance and light janitorial work.
- Valid driver’s license with reliable transportation is REQUIRED
- Must be able to pass a background check as per cannabis regulations
- Ability to travel to our dispensary locations when needed for maintenance work
Additional Technical Requirements
- Experience in working within a building maintenance environment, including electrical, plumbing, carpentry, and painting skills.
- Ability to read prints, sketches, wiring diagrams, and schematic drawings.
- Experience with the use of industrial hand and power tools.
- Ability to work independently, with minimal supervision, and be a self-starter and customer-oriented.
- Strong communication skills, both verbal and written, and the ability to collaborate with colleagues and management.
- Ability to climb, work in confined spaces, lift heavy objects, and work outdoors in extreme weather conditions.
- Flexible with work hours and shifts to meet customer and maintenance needs.

Must be able to communicate clearly and effectively, both verbally and in writing. Employee will have moderate exposure to conditions such as dust and particles that affect the respiratory system, eyes, or the skin, depending on department job assignments.
