Security Manager Site (NJ)

Responsibilities:

• Provide full oversight of security and safety operations for all New Jersey sites at the direction of the Security Director.
• Lead and supervise security personnel to ensure site safety and security.
• Coach, discipline and manage security team
• Responsible for the completion of annual review processes
• Monitor and maintain all security and delivery activities in compliance with state regulations and company standards.
• Plan and manage daily schedules and resource allocation to ensure smooth and efficient operations.
• Recruit, train, and manage department personnel, including performance management, coaching, and addressing personnel concerns in partnership with Human Resources.
• Collaborate with stakeholders across Cultivation, Manufacturing, Operations, and Dispensary departments to align security efforts with operational needs.
• Partner with QA/QC to develop and oversee training programs for security personnel.
• Track and report on departmental KPIs related to safety, quality, and productivity.
• Maintain oversight of the camera system and review footage to investigate incidents and ensure safety protocols are followed.
• Complete detailed incident reports and submit them to appropriate leadership.
• Work closely with Human Resources and General Managers on investigations involving security concerns.
• Assist in greeting visitors and patients and checking them in.
• Perform security patrols of designated areas on foot, monitoring entrances and exits.
• Watch for irregular or unusual conditions and address security concerns and hazards.
• Sound alarms or contact emergency services (police or fire department) in case of an emergency event.
• Warn violators of rule infractions, such as loitering, trespassing, or other violations.
• Investigate and prepare reports on accidents, incidents, and suspicious activities.
