POSITION DESCRIPTION
Huron Valley Schools is seeking an enthusiastic, energetic and effective resource room teacher. Looking for a highly collaborative and an effective communicator, both using verbal and written skills.

Location : Highland Elementary
Salary : Per HVEA contract
Reports To : Principal, Student Support Assistant Director
Status : 2024 / 25 School Year
Start Date : As Soon As Possible
MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS
- Must hold a valid Michigan Elementary Teaching Certificate
- Special Education endorsement
- Certification in non-violent crisis intervention training required, or will be provided
ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS
EDUCATION and / or EXPERIENCE : Bachelor's required.
LANGUAGE, MATHEMATICAL AND REASONING SKILLS : Ability to speak and write effectively. Ability to apply mathematical concepts to practical situations. Ability to carry out instructions furnished in written or oral format and deal with problems involving several concrete variables in standardized situations.
