Position Summary
Event Staff assist on-site Event Managers in ensuring all aspects of the event are ready for guests. They provide guests with directions or other venue information based on a thorough knowledge of building policies, procedures, and event requirements. Event Staff report to the Event Manager.
Position Description
The primary responsibilities of Event Staff include :
- Demonstrates thorough knowledge of building policies, procedures, and event requirements.
- Assists in setup and breakdown of all venue-related furnishings such as tables, chairs, lighting fixtures, and all storage areas following events and assists caterers / vendors as they set-up / breakdown for events.
- Manages any last minute supply / janitorial needs for rooms including garbage liners, vacuuming, and wiping down equipment.
- Provides access control, crowd management, and ensures the venue is safe for guests.
- Provides guests with directions or other venue information.
- Acts upon all comments / complaints in a prompt and friendly manner.
- Ensures a safe and fun environment for all guests and staff.
