About the Role
This is a role that requires expertise in investigations, performance management, and compliance. Reporting to the Senior Director of Employee Relations, this position will provide direct support to a large workforce across multiple sites in Brooklyn and Queens. The Director will serve as a trusted advisor to leadership teams, guiding them through complex ER matters, workplace policies, and legal considerations while ensuring alignment with organizational goals.
Key Responsibilities
- Investigations & Employee Relations
Lead and manage complex workplace investigations, ensuring thorough documentation and compliance with legal and organizational policies.
Advise on policy violations, workplace standards, and employment law compliance at the local, state, and federal levels.
Manage ADA accommodation requests through an interactive process to ensure compliance with regulatory requirements.
Assess trends in ER cases to identify training needs and proactively address gaps.
