We are seeking a skilled Bartender to join our team at Oakley's. The ideal candidate should have a passion for providing exceptional customer service and creating memorable experiences for our guests.
Duties:
- Prepare and serve drinks to customers following standard recipes
- Interact with customers, take orders, and provide recommendations
- Maintain cleanliness of the bar area and equipment
- Check customers' identification to ensure they meet the legal drinking age
- Handle cash transactions and operate the cash register
- Monitor inventory levels and replenish stock as needed
- Collaborate with the kitchen staff to ensure timely service
Qualifications:
- Previous experience in food service, bartending, or related roles
- Proficiency in retail math for handling payments and making change
- Strong sales skills with the ability to upsell and promote specials
- Knowledge of food handling procedures and food safety regulations
- Familiarity with the restaurant or catering industry
- Excellent time management skills to handle peak hours efficiently
- Certification in responsible alcohol service (e.g., TIPS)
