What are the responsibilities and job description for the Assistant Parts Clerk position at Oakley Transport Inc?
Maintaining a well-stocked, organized, and safe Oakley Parts Department. Proper billing of parts to Specific Repair Order, and dispersing of parts to the technician, to expedite the repair process.
Ordering Parts
- Provide information to the Parts Clerk if additional items are needed.
- Set-up shipping of parts to vendors or terminals as required.
- Receive Parts, verify correctness off packing slip, stock shelves, and receive invoice
Rotating stock and Cleaning
Assist with Inventory Quarterly
Shipping and Receiving Box, wrap, and Label company outgoing packages Unload inbound shipments as required.
Assist during fellow employee vacations and as required to maintain flow of Parts Dept. Other duties as assigned by Supervisor
Maintain Outside of building parts locations, keeping pallets, supplies organized and in neat order. Return of Volvo Pallets as needed to maintain an organized dept. Crush cardboard and maintain area in and around cardboard crusher. Organize Tire Chain Inventory, ensure properly bagged for distribution. Organize fuel Island Jug Supply, ensure stocking levels are met, and on hand for restocking.
