What are the responsibilities and job description for the RESIDENCY PROGRAM- School Counselor position at Oakley Union Elementary School District?
Do you have your bachelor's degree and want to work as a school counselor? Earn your PPS credential to become a school counselor with us! The counselor residency program is a 2 year program in partnership with UMass Global. If accepted, you will earn a Master's degree in counseling and a pupil personnel services credential in school counseling with an authorization in child welfare and attendance. During the 2nd year of the program, you will work alongside a mentor school counselor so you can immerse yourself in learning and be fully prepared for the work- and you will receive a grant-funded stipend. *Note: separate application required.* Oakley Union Elementary School District (OUESD) is firmly committed to quality instruction and continually seeks ways to improve teaching techniques and services for our students.
