The General Manager/Executive Associate will run the tasting room, merchandise shop, manage employees, handle reporting, and events at the distillery location in Matthews, NC. The position is designed to grow with the company and the additional locations. The individual will work with the owners on business development and execution. As this position reports directly to the owners, you’ll be part of an inner circle that will see the growth happening from the inside. Key Responsibilities
· Oversee and manage all aspects of the Matthews Oaklore location
· Oversee, schedule and manage all employees
· Manage inventory and make necessary orders
· Ensure safety of customers and employees
· Manage the customer experience
· Be present at events held on and off site, as necessary
· Compile and distribute daily and/or monthly sales and payroll reporting.
· Support business development efforts as needed, to include project coordination with internal and external clients, offering feedback on technological or systems enhancements and performing data collection or testing in conjunction with such initiatives.
· Support owners as an executive associate, a role that supports company growth, as requested
Required Qualifications
· 5 years management experience.
· Proficiency in Google Sheets/Excel w/ advanced knowledge of functions for reporting
· Experience with point-of-sale systems
· Significant client interaction requiring strong verbal and written communication skills
· Experience with sales and marketing
· Experience in hospitality, bar
Preferred Qualifications
· Relevant experience in retail, bar, distillery, brewery or relevant business
· Advanced knowledge of how to handle conflict, solutions and remedies, creativity, positivity
Compensation and Benefits

Job Type: Full-time
Pay: $45,000.00 - $55,000.00 per year
