The Valet Attendant is responsible for delivering exceptional customer service by safely and efficiently, driving, parking and retrieving vehicles.
Responsibilities:
- Greet residents or guests upon arrival and departure, opening and closing car doors
- Assist residents with carrying belongings to and from their cars and provide directions and other helpful information about the community and surrounding area.
- Park and retrieve residents’ personal cars from designated community parking upon resident or associate request in a safe and timely manner
- Maintain a neat and orderly valet stand at all times
- Manage valet parking spaces efficiently and safely to protect resident cars and community property
- Manage and secure resident car key storage system according to community guidelines
- Safely operate all resident and community vehicles in parking and driving into community entrance
- Monitor and maintain cleanliness, safety and security of resident parking areas
- Assist the concierge team and other team members with tasks as assigned
- Monitor residents’ well-being in a general way and report any changes in the condition of a resident to supervisor immediately
- Complete the necessary end of shift documentation and transfer of keys and tickets in accordance with the community process
- Look for opportunities to exceed resident expectations and enhance resident satisfaction
- Maintain high standards of personal appearance and grooming, which includes wearing the proper uniform and name tag when working
- Comply with Oakmont Management Group standards, regulations and Florida driving laws to encourage safe and efficient community operations
- Perform other duties and tasks as assigned or required
Qualifications:
- Must be at least eighteen (18) years of age.
- Demonstrate ability to build and maintain positive working relationships at all levels across the Company.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills; highly motivated and able to work independently or collaboratively depending upon circumstances.
- Strong communication and presentation skills.
- Proficient with Microsoft Office Suite or related software.
- Must pass a Criminal Background check.
- May require team members to vaccinate, participate in daily screening, surveillance testing, and to wear face coverings and other personal protective equipment (PPE) to prevent the spread of the COVID-19 or other communicable diseases, per regulatory guidelines.
