Oakridge has been engaged to select an Desktop Support Technician.
A well established consumer products company is experiencing tremendous growth, they are seeking to hire Desktop Support Technician.
- Work closely with a small team to provide on-going support to 500 end-users, via deskside visits and / or remote support.
- Assist as required in software development / hardware deployment, and maintenance.
- Basic hardware troubleshooting and installation.
- Participates in systems patching and software updates during defined maintenance (Windows 11 Environment).
- General working knowledge of networking protocols such as DNS and TCP / IP.
- Upgrade / update software on workstations and laptops including reinstallation corrupted or non-functioning software.
- Create, modify and delete user accounts, change or assign permissions, reset user passwords, (Office365, Active Directory & Exchange).
