Overview
We are seeking a dedicated and experienced Landscape Supervisor to lead our landscaping and Rochester Firewood team creating and maintaining beautiful outdoor spaces and delivering Firewood. The ideal candidate will possess strong leadership skills and a passion for landscape design and maintenance. This role requires hands-on involvement in various landscaping tasks, including supervising projects, maintaining gardens, and ensuring the highest quality of work is delivered.
Responsibilities
- Supervise and coordinate landscape projects from start to finish, ensuring timely completion and adherence to quality standards.
- Lead a team of landscape workers, providing guidance and support to achieve project goals.
- Oversee the installation of landscape features, including plants, trees, and hardscapes.
- Manage irrigation systems to ensure proper watering of gardens and lawns.
- Conduct regular maintenance activities such as lawn care, tree care, and garden upkeep.
- Train team members on best practices for landscape maintenance and safety protocols.
- Communicate effectively with clients to understand their needs and provide updates on project progress.
- Maintain equipment and tools in good working condition to ensure efficient operations.
Experience
- Proven experience in landscape management or a related field is essential.
- Strong background in supervising teams with an emphasis on leadership skills.
- Familiarity with landscape maintenance techniques, including lawn care, tree care, and irrigation systems.
- Ability to build relationships with clients while delivering exceptional service.
- Knowledge of horticulture principles is a plus but not required.
- Must have clean and valid driving record to be added to company insurance.
