Overview :
The Chemistry Lab Assistant Student Employee will assist the Chemistry department in organizing and maintaining a clean and safe chemistry laboratory. Daily tasks include setting up and tearing down labs, preparing chemical solutions, cleaning equipment and communicating issues to the lab supervisor.

Tuesday : 9 : 00 am - 12 : 00 pm
Wednesday : 7 : 30am - 9 : 30 pm
Thursday : 9 : 00 am - 12 : 00 pm

Flexible based on needs of the department or student schedule. Evening hours are available.
Tasks, Duties and Responsibilities and Learning Outcomes :
- Helps to set up experiments, make solutions, clean and maintain laboratories in the chemistry area. (CD)
- Clean glassware & instruments, restocks shelves. (CD)
- During semester breaks, clean student drawers, and laboratory equipment. (CD)
- Able to work with a team and independently, able to multitask & quick learner. (TW, CT)
- Some computer knowledge (Microsoft Word and Excel, Google Suite). (TC, CM)
- Adhere to written and verbal safety rules. (PF)
- Must be dependable and efficient. (PF)
