The Oakville School District is in immediate need of a full-time CTE Core Plus Construction Trades Teacher for Oakville Middle / High School. The ideal candidate will have experience in teaching related subjects and a passion for helping students learn and grow.
Responsibilities :
- Plan and deliver engaging lessons in CTE / STEM, courses may include : Construction-Woods, Welding & Metals, Pre-Engineering and Construction
- Create and implement lesson plans that align with state and national standards
- Use a variety of teaching methods to accommodate different learning styles and abilities
- Assess student learning and provide feedback to help students improve
- Collaborate with colleagues to develop and improve curriculum
- Maintain a positive and safe learning environment for all students
- Attend staff meetings and professional development opportunities as required
- Perform other duties as assigned by the school administration
