As the Senior Club Director at Oakwood Creative Care, you’ll lead with intention, innovation, and joy—ensuring that every Club operates as a vibrant hub of wellness, engagement, and purpose.
In this dynamic role, you’ll oversee the daily operations of all OCC Clubs, inspire multidisciplinary teams, uphold quality and compliance standards, and foster community relationships that amplify our mission. You’ll be the glue that connects people, purpose, and possibility—building a world where aging is not just supported but celebrated.
- Provide bold and compassionate leadership through coaching, mentoring, team-building, and regular staff meetings.
- Cultivate a positive, collaborative culture that reflects OCC’s core values of Respect, Collaboration, and Innovation.
- Be present at each Club weekly to stay connected with team members, Members, and Club culture.
- Ensure each Club offers a monthly calendar filled with innovative, person-centered programs that utilize art, music, movement, history, culture, wellness, and education to enhance quality of life.
- Empower Engagement Specialists and staff to dream big and deliver magical, meaningful experiences.
- Facilitate regular meetings to keep ideas flowing and teams aligned.
- Lead ongoing quality management efforts including:
- Quarterly fire drills, disaster plan reviews, and Member Council meetings
- Incident and grievance reporting and resolution
- Documentation and follow-through on corrective action plans
- Maintain contractual and regulatory compliance in accordance with DHS, AAA, VA, and other partnering agencies.
- Support internal audits and maintain readiness for site inspections, licensing reviews, and quality assurance visits.
- Ensure Clubs maintain an environment that is safe, welcoming, and aligned with OCC’s standards of excellence.
- Monitor Club needs, resources, and staffing to ensure effective and joyful operations.
- Build and nurture partnerships with local organizations, community leaders, referral sources, and aging service networks.
- Represent OCC at community events, conferences, and collaborative initiatives to amplify awareness and engagement.
- Serve as a bridge between OCC’s mission and the broader community.
- Keep up with industry trends in aging services, dementia care, creative aging, and wellness.
- Embrace and encourage opportunities for professional development—for yourself and your team.
- Contribute to strategic initiatives, fundraising events, and special projects with enthusiasm.
- Proven leadership experience
- Strong understanding of DHS, AAA, VA, and other regulatory requirements
- Experience in quality assurance, program development, and compliance oversight
- Excellent communication, organizational, and coaching skills
- A passion for joyful aging, creative engagement, and person-centered care
- Strong community presence and a love for networking and relationship-building
