What are the responsibilities and job description for the Purchasing Coordinator position at Oakwood Homes?
What will you do in this role?
You provide analytical and operational support within the purchasing department, while working closely with the construction, accounting, and sales departments.
- Interact with trade partners by helping Purchasing Agent conduct buyouts for specific categories and communities
- Analyze purchase orders for direct construction and option costs
- Prepare and analyze pre-sale and pre-construction profit margins (tie-outs) by reviewing sales & options contracts
- Identify areas for profit margin improvement & communicate findings to stakeholders
- Review purchasing contracts / change orders
- Managing special projects as assigned
- Develop and implement efficient procedures by analyzing current procedures and recommending process changes
- Answer financial questions by researching and interpreting cost / margin data
- Other tasks as assigned
- Maintain compliance with all company policies and procedures

Base Salary : $25.00 to $28.00 Hourly
FLSA Status : Non-Exempt
Bonus Type : KPI qrtrly potential up to 10%
