Position Summary:
We are seeking a friendly, organized, and detail-oriented Front Desk Receptionist to join our team. As the first point of contact for clients, you will play a vital role in creating a welcoming and supportive environment. The ideal candidate has strong customer service skills, the ability to multitask, and a passion for working in a mental health setting.
Key Responsibilities
- Greeting and Reception: Welcome clients and visitors in a warm, professional manner; maintain a calm, supportive atmosphere in the waiting area.
- Client Intake: Answer phone calls, schedule appointments, and manage incoming inquiries; verify insurance benefits and eligibility when needed.
- Administrative Support: Oversee administrative tasks such as filing, scanning documents, and maintaining client records in compliance with confidentiality and HIPAA requirements.
- Payment Processing: Collect copays, fees, and other payments; accurately record all transactions and reconcile daily financial reports.
- Communication: Coordinate effectively with therapists, office staff, and management to ensure seamless office operations.
- Office Organization: Maintain orderly reception, waiting, and common areas; monitor office supplies and assist in ordering or restocking as needed.
Qualifications
- Education & Experience:
- High school diploma or equivalent required; some college coursework or an associate’s degree preferred.
- Previous reception or administrative experience, preferably in a healthcare or mental health setting.
- Technical Skills:
- Proficient in Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, Outlook) and comfortable with electronic health record (EHR) or scheduling software.
- Personal Attributes:
- Excellent communication and customer service skills.
- Strong organizational and multitasking abilities.

Job Type: Full-time
Pay: $17.00 - $28.48 per hour
