What are the responsibilities and job description for the Crude Oil Marketing Analyst position at Oasis Petroleum?
The Crude Oil Marketing Analyst will support the Crude Oil Marketing efforts for Chord Energy. Responsibilities include fundamental and ad hoc analytics, revenue recognition / pricing review, organization of crude oil marketing contracts, and support and back up to crude oil scheduling. This position will report to the Director, Crude Marketing and is located in downtown Houston, TX. Hybrid work schedule is an option for remote work on Mondays and Fridays. Level and salary commensurate with experience. Essential Job Functions
- Provide fundamental market analysis with macro supply / demand models, production forecasting, and product flows
- Support monthly Volume and Revenue Recognition Process in conjunction with Accounting
- Monitor and document Contract compliance
- Prepare summary Contract Briefs of all Crude Oil Marketing Contracts
- Back up and support for nominating and scheduling crude oil, including monitoring volumes available for sale and tracking wellhead & pipeline imbalances
- Develop reporting tools for data analysis
- Prepare Marketing presentations and reports
- Contract Administration project research and analysis
