Responsibilities:
- Assisting veterinarians and lead technician in providing optimal care to animals
- Obtaining accurate vitals & medical histories, note any changes of patient’s condition to the veterinarian
- Assisting veterinarians by restraining animals in a safe, efficient, and caring manner
- Collecting and preparing laboratory samples such as fecal, urine, and ear cytologies
- Assisting veterinarian and/or lead technician with preparing animals and instruments for surgery
- Monitoring animals after surgery and maintaining complete and accurate medical records
- Engaging in open and compassionate communication with pet owners to help them maintain their pets' health

- Strong verbal communication skills
- Capability to handle, lift, and restrain animals
- Excellent problem-solving and organizational skills
- Ability to manage multiple tasks and remain adaptable in a fast-paced environment
- Genuine love for animals and a patient, compassionate attitude towards their human companions
