We are looking for a human resources (HR) / office manager to support our 80 person team of engineers, surveyors, and administrative professionals. The ideal candidate will be a people-focused professional with strong communication skills, attention to detail, and the ability to manage multiple responsibilities effectively. Work will be out of our Collinsville, IL office.
Qualifications
- 3 years of related experience.
- Bachelor's degree in human resources, business administration or relevant field.
- A minimum of 3 years of experience within HR with knowledge of HR best practices and relevant employment laws and regulations.
- Excellent organizational and communication skills with ability to manage multiple priorities.
- Ability to maintain confidentiality.
- Proficient in MS Office Suite (Word, Excel, Outlook).
Responsibilities
- Manage recruitment, onboarding, and offboarding processes
- Oversee benefits administration, employee records, and compliance with labor laws
- Support employee relations, performance management, and professional development
- Maintain and update HR policies, ensuring compliance with company and legal standards
- Oversee day-to-day office operations and implement policies
- Assist with administrative functions to support leadership and company initiatives
This is a full-time, salaried position with an annual hiring pay range of $55,000-$75,000. We will also consider part-time candidates, with salary adjusted based on the agreed-upon schedule.
