We are seeking a highly motivated and detailoriented Accounts Payable Representative to join our dynamic finance team. In this role you will play a crucial part in ensuring the timely and accurate processing of invoices maintaining vendor relationships and contributing to the overall efficiency of our accounts payable operations.
What Youll Do :
- Process invoices : Efficiently manage a high volume of invoices through our cloudbased system ensuring accuracy and adherence to deadlines.
- Maintain financial records : Manage the Accounts Payable subledger within SAP ensuring data integrity and proper reconciliation.
- Execute payments : Process and administer payment runs verifying approvals and complying with internal controls.
- Manage vendor relationships : Build and maintain strong relationships with vendors addressing inquiries and resolving discrepancies.
- Ensure compliance : Verify vendor setup obtain necessary documentation (tax forms banking details) and assist with tax filings.
- Collaborate and support : Provide backup support to other team members crosstrain on various tasks and contribute to process improvements.
- Special projects : Participate in ad hoc requests and special projects as needed showcasing your flexibility and problemsolving skills.
Requirements
3-5 years of Accounts Payable experience in a high-volume invoice processing environment. Proficiency in Excel (ability to use formulas, sorting, filtering, and basic functions for financial data). Strong attention to detail to ensure accuracy in invoice processing and reconciliation. Ability to work independently, troubleshoot issues, and take initiative before escalating problems. Effective communication and organizational skills for vendor management and cross-functional collaboration. Experience with vendor account verification, including tax documentation and electronic banking details. Ability to prioritize tasks and shift focus quickly in a fast-paced work environment. Comfortable asking questions, problem-solving, and discussing challenges proactively.
