On behalf of our valued client the premier posttrade market infrastructure for the global financial services industry. We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced BI Platform Administrator to manage and optimize their Looker and Amazon Quicksight platforms. In this role you will play a critical part in ensuring the seamless operation security and scalability of their business intelligence infrastructure enabling datadriven decisionmaking across the organization. This is a hybrid role!
Responsibilities :
Platform Management :
Implement manage and maintain Looker and Quicksight platforms ensuring high availability and performance.
- Design and deliver complex platform architectures integrating with various data sources and tools.
- Define and implement SDLC processes and CI / CD pipelines using Jenkins integrating Looker with Git for code management.
- Establish and enforce platform governance security and resiliency policies.
Power BI Administration :
Design and administer Power BI service architecture including Azure and Power BI administration Premium Capacity management and troubleshooting.
Looker Administration :
Manage Looker setup and administration ensuring optimal performance and security.
Security and Automation :
Implement security measures using Active Directory Azure AD and Ping Federate configuring OAuth and SAML for SSO.
Troubleshooting and Support :
Work closely with IT server and security teams to troubleshoot and resolve platform issues.
Knowledge Sharing and Mentorship :
Train selfservice BI users and promote the adoption of the data platform.
Requirements
Proficiency in Python Shell Scripting and PowerShell.

Extensive experience with implementing and managing BI platforms for business intelligence, data applications, and embedded analytics. 10 years of experience in managing BI platforms including Power BI, Looker, Amazon Quicksight. Experience in designing and delivering complex platform architectures. Extensive experience with Python programming, Shell Scripting, and PowerShell Scripting. Identify and implement various automation solutions using scripting. Have worked on various product APIs to automate Admin functions. Extensive knowledge and experience on setting up security using Active Directory, Azure AD, and Ping Federate. Have worked on configuring OAuth, SAML configurations for SSO implementation. Experience in defining SDLC processes and CI / CD processes using Jenkins. Integrating Looker with a Git repo for code commits. Extensive knowledge and experience with platform governance and resiliency. Power BI Service architecture design and administration including but not limited to Azure and Power BI Administration, PBI Premium Capacity Administration, and extensive knowledge of Power BI Premium Service as a whole and how to troubleshoot and find opportunities for automation to streamline the day-to-day operations of the platform. Experience with Looker Setup and Administration. Architect and develop data models, ETL packages, and reports utilizing Power BI applying best practices to the development lifecycle. Data Modeling experience with Kimball method. Experience with more than one database tool such as Snowflake, Oracle, DB2, SQL Server. Understanding of various external components that BI tools depend on for successful connectivity, including understanding of Network, Firewall, Proxy, etc. Integrating Power BI with different tools, including but not limited to Splunk, Collibra, ServiceNow. Understanding of pre-requisites for a successful connection setup. Strong ability to quickly propose solutions by recalling the latest best practices learned from MVP & Product Team articles, vendor documentation, whitepapers, and community publications. A passion for understanding and integrating business semantics into technology solutions. Ability to work in a fast-paced, dynamic, client-facing role where delivering solid work products to exceed high expectations is a measure of success. Excellent communication, presentation, influencing, and reasoning skills. Ability to lead complex projects.
