Job Summary:
As the Market Assistant CFO, you will play a crucial role in directing the finance department's activities for the market, ensuring they align with the organization's mission, values, and objectives. Reporting directly to the Market CFO, you will be responsible for overseeing financial operations, implementing strategic financial plans, and leading a team of finance professionals.
Key Responsibilities:
- Direct and manage the market finance department's activities, functions, and resources.
- Ensure financial operations are in alignment with the organization's mission, values, and strategic objectives.
- Collaborate with the Market CFO and other senior leaders to develop and implement financial strategies.
- Oversee budgeting, forecasting, and financial reporting for the market.
- Ensure compliance with all financial regulations and standards.
- Provide leadership and mentorship to the finance team, fostering a culture of continuous improvement and professional development.
Qualifications:
Must-Haves:
- Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field.
- Minimum of 5 years of experience in for-profit hospital finance.
- Minimum of 3 years of supervisory experience in a finance role.
Nice-to-Haves:
- Master's degree in Accounting, Finance, or Business.
- Certified Public Accountant (CPA) license.
- Experience in hospital finance across multiple locations.
