Our client a leading financial services organization is seeking a skilled and motivated Tools Support Engineer to join their Direct Delivery team. In this role you will play a crucial part in supporting engineering project teams by providing expertise and assistance with Application Lifecycle Management (ALM) tools. You will be responsible for tool rollout configuration troubleshooting user training and process improvement. Location : Dallas TX or Tampa FL (Onsite Interview Required)
Responsibilities : ALM Tools Support :
Provide comprehensive support for ALM tools including troubleshooting user issues creating new users and projects and monitoring tool usage.
- Offer Quality Center customization support assisting with configurations and workflows.
- Collaborate with engineering teams to address toolrelated challenges and optimize tool utilization.
- Develop scripts and automation solutions to streamline repetitive tasks and improve efficiency.
- Support the creation and extraction of charts and dashboards from ALM tools for reporting and analysis.
- Assist in monitoring and extracting audit reports from ALM tools for compliance and governance.
- Pilot new tools and perform tests with IT before upgrades or new tool rollouts.
Application Maintenance :
Support multiple projects across different time zones ensuring timely and effective assistance.
Implementation and Customization :
Implement new ALM functionality and customize project configurations based on project requirements (user roles entities alerts workflows etc.).
Risk Management and Coordination :
Identify analyze and mitigate project and operational risks related to ALM tools.
Knowledge Sharing and Communication :
Develop and communicate tool usage best practices and training materials.

Experience : 5 years of experience in a similar role, supporting engineering teams and ALM tools. Technical Skills : Strong understanding of ALM tools and processes. Proficiency in Microfocus QC / ALM / Octane. Experience with scripting and automation. Knowledge of SQL and macro creation. Familiarity with various technical environments (network, database, architecture).
