As a Sales Engineer, you will play a pivotal role in connecting OAV’s high-performance products with client needs, facilitating a seamless journey from technical consultation to successful delivery. You will work closely with both our engineering and manufacturing teams to ensure alignment with client requirements and strategic objectives, fostering long-term partnerships and supporting our reputation for excellence.
Key Responsibilities:
- Leverage engineering knowledge to provide technical expertise and product insights to customers.
- Identify and engage prospective customers, understanding their needs and aligning them with OAV solutions.
- Create CAD and technical product concepts for client presentations.
- Collaborate with production teams to ensure product design and quality meet client expectations.
- Oversee project timelines and product delivery to ensure customer satisfaction.
- Conduct market analysis to identify trends and optimize sales strategies.
- Develop strategic sales goals and metrics in collaboration with management.
- Promote a lean, quality-focused approach in all customer-facing activities.
- Maintain up-to-date knowledge of OAV’s product lines and industry developments.
- Represent OAV at industry events, building community and industry relationships.
Requirements:
- Minimum of 3 years of experience in sales engineering or product engineering within an industrial or manufacturing setting.
- Bachelor's degree in engineering or equivalent technical experience.
- Expertise in motion systems, fluid dynamics, or air/foil bearing technology is highly desirable.
- Strong proficiency in CAD and familiarity with lean manufacturing practices, Six Sigma, or other world-class manufacturing systems.
- Exceptional interpersonal skills with a customer-focused attitude.
- Proven project management and time-management skills, able to handle multiple projects and deadlines effectively.
- Strong problem-solving abilities, with a hands-on approach to identifying and resolving issues.
