- Greet and check-in patients, ensuring a positive and welcoming experience
- Schedule and confirm patient appointments using Eaglesoft or similar scheduling system
- Collect and verify patient information, including medical history and insurance details
- Maintain accurate and up-to-date patient records and medical files
- Answer phone calls, respond to inquiries, and provide exceptional customer service
- Coordinate referrals to specialists and follow-up appointments as needed
- Assist with billing and insurance claims processing
- Adhere to HIPAA guidelines and maintain patient confidentiality
- Collaborate with healthcare providers to ensure smooth patient flow and efficient operations
```Qualifications:```
- Previous experience as a medical receptionist, dental receptionist, or in a similar role preferred
- Proficient in using Eaglesoft or other dental/medical practice management software
- Familiarity with medical terminology and administrative support functions
- Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written
- Strong attention to detail and organizational abilities
- Ability to multitask in a fast-paced environment while maintaining professionalism
- Knowledge of HIPAA regulations and compliance requirements
- Experience with Epic or other electronic medical records systems is a plus
