QUALIFICATIONS:
- Prior experience in retail or hospitality preferred
- Friendly, outgoing personality with a passion for customer service
- Attention to detail and strong organizational skills
- Reliable team player
- Ability to lift up to 50 pounds
- Must be available to work Saturdays on a regular basis
- Must be able to pass a background check for client fingerprinting
- WV Notary Commission is a plus, or must qualify to become a notary
JOB DESCRIPTION:
As a Sales Associate at OBITCO, you’ll provide essential support for customers, helping with everything from packaging and shipping to professional printing services. Training is provided, and proven performance can lead to additional responsibilities and growth within the company.
ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:
- Greet customers warmly, assess their needs, and ensure they receive the best service possible
- Deliver exceptional customer service through positive engagement and quality solutions
- Be knowledgeable about OBITCO’s services and promote them effectively
- Assist customers with packaging, mailing, and shipping needs using established procedures
- Accurately complete transactions using the Point of Sale (POS) system
- Pack contents securely for shipping and manage documents for printing
- Process packages, including weighing and generating labels as needed
- Process claims for damaged, late, or lost packages
- Stock shelves, ensure product displays are clean, and maintain inventory levels
- Perform end-of-day duties, including reconciling cash, checks, credit cards, etc.
- Assist customers with copiers, fax machines, and other office equipment
- Maintain a clean and organized store environment
Education Required:
- High School Diploma or equivalent
