Object Technology Solutions, Inc (OTSI) has an immediate opening for a Test Technician III
Test Technician III (Onsite Fort Collins, CO)
Major Responsibilities:
- Lab maintenance
- Includes cleaning the lab, organizing inventory, maintaining workstation systems and test benches.
- Testing
- Use a combination of client Graphics Test Suite components, as well as other industry tools to test graphics hardware and software in client workstations.
- Document the reproduction, diagnosis, and logging of issues.
- Work alongside team members, other teams, and client partners (Nvidia, AMD, and Intel) to troubleshoot issues and find solutions.
- Set up test systems to meet exact quality standards and configurations to ensure consistent test results.
- General responsibilities
- Work alongside team to determine upcoming goals and future improvements to GTS.
- Physical requirements
- Some heavy lifting and physicality is needed for handling systems and maintaining lab hardware.
- Knowledge used in role
- Comprehensive knowledge of computer hardware and assembly.
Qualifications and Experience ( Nice to have )
- Graphics Test Suite (GTS)
- Update and maintain GTS.
- Write test software scripts.
- Update third part software in GTS.
- Integrate new tests into GTS.
- Knowledge used in role
- Software development and scripting knowledge is required for maintenance of GTS.
- Software languages: Perl, C , C, and Visual Basic.
- Process and software management for GTS is done through tortoise SVN and Redmine.
