Responsibilities:
- Oversee training projects, manage schedules, and ensure content accuracy, quality, and alignment with learning objectives.
- Create engaging courses, materials, and assessments using various instructional tools and technologies.
- Assess training needs, partner with Subject Matter Experts, and design solutions that align with organizational goals.
- Continuously review and update training content to reflect current processes, tools, and regulations/policies.
- Track progress, analyze feedback, and report on the success of training programs.
- Stay current on instructional design trends and incorporate relevant technologies and strategies into learning solutions.
- Bachelor's degree in information sciences or a related field.
- Minimum of 10 years of relevant professional experience, including at least 5 years leading training efforts in computer applications.
- Proven experience in project management and team leadership, ensuring content accuracy and quality.
- Strong proficiency in JIRA or similar project management tools, as well as LMS and authoring tools (e.g., Articulate Storyline, Adobe Captivate).
- In-depth knowledge of instructional design models (e.g., ADDIE, SAM) and adult learning principles.
- At least 8 years of experience assessing training needs and implementing education programs, particularly in Workers' Compensation or related fields (e.g., insurance, benefits, claims processing).
- 4 years of experience managing a team and delivering technical and end-user training in various settings (classroom, web-based, train-the-trainer, webinars, presentations, etc.).
- Hands-on experience with Learning Management Systems (3 years) and proficiency with Microsoft Office tools (including Visio and SharePoint).
- Direct experience with Workers' Compensation systems or similar industry systems.
- Excellent communication, leadership, collaboration, and documentation skills.
- Candidate must be either local to Missouri or willing to relocate.
- Certifications in instructional design or training (e.g., CPLP).
- Familiarity with learning analytics and data-driven decision-making.
