Responsibilities
The expected base salary range for this role is outlined below. In addition to the base salary, total compensation may include a discretionary bonus based on performance. This range reflects a variety of factors, including years of relevant experience, education, and other qualifications pertinent to the position.
$175,000-$225,000

Responsibilities
- Review investment valuations for all Private Credit funds, encompassing Private Equities, Real Estate, Collateralized Loan Obligations (CLOs), and Asset-Backed Securities (ABS). Ensure that the valuation models are robust, and that the assumptions are thoroughly documented and justifiable.
- Conduct valuations as part of the monthly and quarterly portfolio valuation process
- Oversee the valuation function, collaborating with front office teams, investment accounting, compliance, legal departments, internal/external auditors, and third-party valuation firms
- Perform research and analysis projects, including market and industry analysis and comparable sales assessments
- Contribute to investment operations initiatives and other ad hoc projects as needed
- Ensure all valuations comply with legal and regulatory requirements
- Prepare and present valuation reports in committee meetings
- Identify and recommend process improvements to enhance efficiency in valuation and pricing functions
- Bachelor’s Degree in Finance, Statistics, Economics, Engineering, or a related field
- 9 years of experience in credit valuation, preferably within valuation/appraisal, Big 4 firms, or financial advisory services
- Strong financial modeling experience, including waterfall cash flows
- Experience assessing creditworthiness of borrowers, including financial statement analysis and cash flow projections
- Strong customer service orientation with excellent verbal and written communication skills
- Ability to work collaboratively and effectively with internal teams, clients, and third-party service providers
- Strong organizational and planning skills with attention to detail
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (Excel, Word, PowerPoint)
- Ability to write and deliver clear, professional reports, business correspondence, and procedural documentation
- Strong analytical skills with the ability to interpret financial data, market trends, and regulatory guidelines
- Problem-solving skills to manage complex valuation scenarios in a fast-paced environment
- Ability to manage multiple priorities and meet deadlines under pressure
