About the Team :
As the Manger of HR Operations, you will be a part of the Legal & HR team at Obsidian and will play a pivotal role in shaping the future of Obsidian by owning our people processes and systems and building them as we continue to grow. Reporting to Obsidian's Sr. Director of HR, you will help ensure that HR processes and systems run smoothly, support strategic HR initiatives and support each stage of the employee lifecycle for our team members.
About the Role :
- Employee Lifecycle Management : Manage onboarding, offboarding, and transitions, ensuring a positive and smooth experience for employees globally.
- HR Systems and Data : Administer and optimize HRIS (Rippling), ensure data and document accuracy, complete audits, and generate reports to support data-driven decision making.
- Benefits Administration : Oversee all employee benefits programs, including communications, enrollment, renewals, changes, audits and employee inquiries.
- Leave Administration : Ensure that leave programs are administered accurately, consistently and uniformly, adhering to policies / procedures and applicable laws and regulations. Serve as the point person for all employee questions and support.
- Payroll Coordination : Partner with the finance team to ensure accurate and timely payroll processing across multiple countries.
- Compliance and Policies : Ensure compliance with labor laws and company policies in all regions, updating policies as needed.
- Employee Support : Serve as the first point of contact for employee questions related to HR, benefits, and policies.
- Process Improvement : Continuously evaluate and improve HR processes to enhance efficiency and employee satisfaction.

Please note that the base pay range is a guideline and for candidates who receive an offer, the base pay will vary based on factors such as work location, as well as the knowledge, skills and experience of the candidate. In addition to a competitive base salary, this position is eligible for equity awards and may be eligible for incentive compensation based on factors such as experience, skills, and location.
