The HR Operations Manager is key to supporting all people processes, data, and compliance. The HR Operations Manager will play an essential role in providing an outstanding employee experience from onboarding and throughout the employee lifecycle while maximizing operational efficiencies. This role will support the HR team by participating in the design and continuous improvement of the workflows supporting Talent Management, Total Rewards, Compliance, HR Data Analytics, and Training & Development an,d in doing s,o will also be an active liaison with cross-functional teams such as IT, Finance, and Legal.
This role will report to the Senior Director of HR Operations.
Responsibilities:
- Drive an exceptional experience throughout the entire employee lifecycle, from onboarding to offboarding. Have in-depth knowledge of HR processes and procedures. Assure downstream systems and functions receive information in a timely manner
- Manages daily operations of US Benefits program – manage day-to-day activities associated with our US & Canada benefits programs including keeping a summary of all our current programs, managing the vendor relationships, open enrollment process, handling claims escalations, ensure our programs are compliant with latest ERISA/benefits legislation, researching and implementing ongoing changes based on local legislation and business needs, and other activities that arise.
- Manage HRIS day-to-day operations, including report generation, providing management dashboards, and conducting employee data audits ensuring proper & timely data flow of employee data to external departments (i.e. Finance, IT, Internal Audit). Will also support HCM development and implementation cycles. Will support continuous improvement efforts to standardize and streamline HR system processes in our HR system ecosystem.
- HR Compliance/SOX: Ensure compliance with the Sarbanes-Oxley Act (SOX) by implementing and maintaining internal controls related to HR processes. Collaborate with the finance department to ensure accurate recording and reporting of financial information. Maintain documentation and records to support SOX audits. Provide training and guidance to HR staff on SOX compliance requirements.
- Immigration Lead: Liaison with outside immigration counsel and support all domestic employee immigration case application processes. Will support international relocation process in coordination with regional HR teams to ensure smooth transition for the employee.
- Responsibility to ensure the HR department is compliant with local laws and maintaining proper records applicable with local legal requirements. Periodically performs audits of personnel data and recommends any corrective action.
- Provide first-level support/ongoing HR guidance to employees and managers for all HR programs (i.e., merit, bonus, goals, & performance)
- Assist with miscellaneous projects and requests on an as-needed basis
Experience
- 5 years of experience in HR Operations
- Proven work experience as an HR Operations Manager, HR Manager, or similar role.
- Excellent analytical and decision-making abilities
- Self-starter and someone who takes the initiative to make process improvements
- Self-motivated with the ability to meet deadlines independently and as part of a team
- High level of interpersonal skills to handle sensitive and confidential situations and documentation
- Strong knowledge of HR best practices and federal/state labor laws
- 3 years Hands-on experience with managing an HRIS (preferred Oracle HCM, WorkDay, SAP, Bamboo HR)
- Proficient with Microsoft Suite (Outlook, Excel, Word, and Powerpoint)
- Education: Bachelor’s degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, or related field
- Certifications: SHRM-CP or SHRM-SCP, PHR, or SPHR certification

The actual base pay is dependent upon a variety of job-related factors such as professional background, training, work experience, location, business needs and market demand. Therefore, in some circumstances, the actual salary could fall outside of this expected range. This pay range is subject to change and may be modified in the future.
Annual Salary Range $130,000—$150,000 USD
