Overview
The Manager, HR Operations will be responsible for leading our HR Operations department, encompassing HR service delivery, processing documentation and execution, audit and compliance, and data and reporting and adept at identifying key areas for improvement for the department.
Essential Functions and Responsibilities
Strategic HR Operations:
- Collaborate with the manager to develop and implement HR strategies aligned with business goals.
- Identify opportunities to streamline HR processes, improve efficiency, and enhance service delivery.
- Develop and monitor key performance indicators (KPIs) for HR operations.
Operational Management:
- Oversee the full employee lifecycle including onboarding, performance management, and offboarding.
- Implementing new systems and processes.
- Manage employee data integrity within the HR Information System.
- Utilize technology and automation tools to optimize HR operations and reduce manual work.
- Ensure accurate and secure management of employee data, including personnel files, HRIS records, and other HR-related documentation.
- Develop and update HR policies, procedures, and employee handbooks.
- Develop and maintain data management policies and procedures, ensuring compliance with data privacy regulations.
- Must adhere to Iovance Biotherapeutics’ core values, policies, procedures, and business ethics.
- Perform miscellaneous duties as assigned.
Team Leadership:
- Lead and develop a team of HR professionals responsible for various operational tasks.
- Coach and mentor team members on HR policies and procedures.
- Delegate tasks effectively and manage team performance.
Required Education, Skills, and Knowledge
- BA/BS degree and 8 years prior experience in Human Resources Operations.
- Proven experience in HR Operations Management, ideally with a leadership role.
- Strong understanding of employment laws and regulations.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
- Excellent leadership skills to manage and motivate the team.
- Proficiency in HR management systems and data analysis.
- Ability to manage multiple priorities and projects simultaneously.
- Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills and the proven ability to think situationally.
- Ability to maintain confidentiality and handle sensitive information with discretion.
Preferred Education, Skills, and Knowledge
- Payroll reporting.
- HRIS experience (BambooHR/ADP).
