Job Description
The Auto Body Shop Painter completes body shop painting for vehicles as assigned by management, following all established standards and procedures. He or she delivers the highest quality body shop painting services while maintaining the highest level of customer satisfaction. The Body Shop Painter must produce quality results on time or earlier and must have knowledge of specialty painting techniques and technologies.
The ideal candidate has some post-secondary automotive training and at least one year of dealer-level or large facility experience. He or she has an unrestricted driver's license and a clean driving record and can drive both automatic and standard transmission vehicles. Excellent communication and interpersonal skills and good computer skills are required.

Responsibilities
- Responsible for efficient and accurate painting jobs consistent with industry standards
- Responsible for reading and executing work orders from manager
- Assists with coordination of tools/parts/paint/supplies as needed
- Maintains cleanliness of vehicles while performing service
- Ensures that work areas are clean, and that equipment, tools, and supplies are properly stored
- Follows all safety policies and procedures
- Performs other duties as assigned
- Professional and dependable
- Unrestricted driver's license and clean driving record
- Experience working in a collision repair or body shop a plus
- Strong organization skills, able to multi-task, great time management skills
- Ability to meet deadlines and and maintain composure under stress
- Previous painting experience required
- Quality conscious and detail-oriented
