Senior Director, Information Technology Operations
Pay Details :
The annual base salary range for this position in California is $180,000 to $225,000 per year. The starting pay for the successful candidate depends on various job-related factors, including but not limited to the candidate's geographic location, job-related knowledge, skills, experience, education / training, internal value, peer equity, external market demands, and organizational considerations.
This is a full-time, exempt position located at the Douglass office in Anaheim. The Senior Director, Information Technology Operations will oversee the planning, implementation, and management of IT services and ensure that our technology aligns with the company's objectives. This role will have a strong background in IT management, a proven capability to drive operational excellence, and a passion for leveraging technology to enhance business performance.
Responsibilities
- Develop and execute the IT operations strategy to support business goals and enhance service delivery
- Lead and manage the IT operations team, which includes A / V support, Event Support, and Desktop Support, fostering a culture of continuous improvement and innovation
- Collaborate with other departments to identify technology needs and implement solutions that enhance efficiency and productivity
- Develop and promote IT services as a customer-centric organization within the business, improving user satisfaction through enhanced communication, faster support, and proactive issue management
- Oversee management and automation of employee onboarding / offboarding processes, ensuring seamless integration of users and adherence to cybersecurity standards
- Establish and monitor key performance indicators (KPIs), including metrics tracked in ServiceNow, to measure and improve the effectiveness of IT operations
- Actively participate in the Change Advisory Board (CAB) to ensure a stable IT environment, minimize risks, and maintain transparent communication
- Partner with the Technology Adoption Group (TAG) to define business technology requirements and launch new IT projects
- Drive initiatives for IT security, data governance, and disaster recovery planning, maintaining compliance with industry standards and regulations
- Manage vendor relationships, negotiate contracts, and ensure optimal service delivery and cost-effectiveness
- Stay current with emerging technologies, particularly those relevant to entertainment venue technologies, and leverage insights to inform strategic planning
- Maintain a strong understanding of hardware technologies, including laptops, mobile devices, and other end-user equipment, ensuring robust support
- Drive standardization of hardware, software, and processes across the organization to reduce costs, increase efficiency, and simplify support
- Ensure proper planning, deployment, and retirement of IT assets
