Job Title: Administrative Accounting Assistant

Location: Occucare International

Job Overview:
We are seeking a highly organized and detail-oriented Administrative Accounting Assistant to join our team. This role will focus on accounting support while providing general administrative assistance.

Key Responsibilities:

Accounting Support:

  • Assist in maintaining accurate financial records and enter data into accounting software.
  • Support accounts payable and receivable, ensuring timely payments and collections.
  • Support the preparation of financial reports and assist with audits.
  • Provide light billing support, including creating and sending invoices to clients.

Administrative Support:

  • Provide general administrative support across various office functions.
  • Assist with data entry tasks, ensuring accuracy and completeness.
  • Help organize and maintain filing systems for documents and records.
  • Support the scheduling and coordination of internal meetings, appointments, or projects.
  • Provide assistance to HR functions as needed, including organizing employee events and updating HR databases.

Additional Responsibilities:

  • Track and maintain certifications for medical providers and medics, ensuring compliance with industry regulations.
  • Monitor certification renewal dates and ensure timely renewals for all relevant staff.

Skills & Qualifications:

  • Associate’s degree in Accounting, Business Administration, or related field preferred.
  • 1 year of experience in accounting or administrative roles.
  • Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite (Excel, Word, Outlook); experience with accounting software (e.g., QuickBooks, Xero) is a plus.
  • Strong organizational skills with the ability to multitask and prioritize tasks.
  • Excellent communication skills and attention to detail.
  • Ability to handle sensitive information with discretion and maintain confidentiality.
  • Experience managing certification records and renewal processes is a plus.
