OBW 15 Year Old Food Service Cashier

Essential Duties and Responsibilities:

• Receive payment by cash, credit cards, EZ Pay or vouchers

• Proper handling, storage and organization of all receipts and vouchers

• Upselling products to offer the best experience at park

• Excellent cash handling skills so that the transaction can be fast, friendly, and fun

• Maintain product levels at assigned station, to include: chips, straws, condiments, cutlery, napkins, etc

• Follow opening & closing procedures in assigned outlets to maintain cleanliness standards

• Assist with catering events, including event setup, serving food and cleanup

• Prepare quick service food and beverage items

• Expedite prepared orders from the kitchen to the customer

• Maintain a clean and safe work environment for customers and team members

• Wash dishes following sanitation guidelines

• Provide superior customer service to all customers in a polite, enthusiastic and expedient manner

• Assist customers with questions regarding Ocean Breeze Waterpark

• Follow park policies and procedures

• Other duties as assigned

Qualifications:

• Must be at least 15 years of age

• Ability to count money and make change

• Ability to operate a computer and computer software programs

• Ability to accept guidance and supervision

• Ability to communicate effectively with customers, team members and leadership

• Be aware, attentive, and work well with others

• Ability to work in indoor and shaded outdoor weather conditions while taking precautions, including hydration and sun-protection

Physical Requirements:

• Must be able to sit, stand or walk for extended periods of time

• Must be able to lift, carry, move and/ or position items weighing up to 35 pounds
