What are the responsibilities and job description for the OBW 15 Year Old Food Service Cashier position at Ocean Breeze Waterpark?
Essential Duties and Responsibilities:
- Receive payment by cash, credit cards, EZ Pay or vouchers
- Proper handling, storage and organization of all receipts and vouchers
- Upselling products to offer the best experience at park
- Excellent cash handling skills so that the transaction can be fast, friendly, and fun
- Maintain product levels at assigned station, to include: chips, straws, condiments, cutlery, napkins, etc
- Follow opening & closing procedures in assigned outlets to maintain cleanliness standards
- Assist with catering events, including event setup, serving food and cleanup
- Prepare quick service food and beverage items
- Expedite prepared orders from the kitchen to the customer
- Maintain a clean and safe work environment for customers and team members
- Wash dishes following sanitation guidelines
- Provide superior customer service to all customers in a polite, enthusiastic and expedient manner
- Assist customers with questions regarding Ocean Breeze Waterpark
- Follow park policies and procedures
- Other duties as assigned
Qualifications:
- Must be at least 15 years of age
- Ability to count money and make change
- Ability to operate a computer and computer software programs
- Ability to accept guidance and supervision
- Ability to communicate effectively with customers, team members and leadership
- Be aware, attentive, and work well with others
- Ability to work in indoor and shaded outdoor weather conditions while taking precautions, including hydration and sun-protection
Physical Requirements:
- Must be able to sit, stand or walk for extended periods of time
- Must be able to lift, carry, move and/ or position items weighing up to 35 pounds
