What are the responsibilities and job description for the OBW Parking Supervisor position at Ocean Breeze Waterpark?
Essential Duties and Responsibilities:
- Must be able to fulfill all functions and duties of a Parking Attendant, Tram Driver, and Shuttle Driver
- Assign duties to parking staff
- Conduct pre and post shift meetings
- Conduct department orientation trainings
- Conduct in-service training sessions and weekly safety topic trainings
- Provide coaching to team members
- Issue disciplinary action according to park policies and procedures as needed
- Complete staffing for Parking team members and ensure breaks are given and staffing and time sheets are completed correctly
- Ability to properly and safely operate equipment used
- Supervise guest experience to ensure excellent customer service is provided by the parking staff, respond to customer concerns
- Ensure all park policies and procedures are being followed by all team members
- Maintain a clean and safe work environment for customers and other team members
- Provide superior customer service to all customers in a polite and expedient manner
- Assist customers with all questions regarding Ocean Breeze Waterpark
- Follow park policies and procedures
- Other duties as assigned
Qualifications:
- Must be 18 years of age or older
- Provide a valid driver’s license, CDL preferred but not required
- History of safe driving
- At least 1 year experience in department or equivalent supervisory experience preferred
- Ability to accept guidance and supervision
- Demonstrate ability to work independently
- Ability to communicate effectively with customers, team members, and leadership
- Be aware, attentive, and work well with others
- Ability to work in outdoor weather conditions while taking precautions, including hydration and sun-protection
Physical Requirements:
- Must be able to sit, stand or walk for extended periods of time
- Must be able to lift, carry, move, and/ or position items weighing up to 25 lbs.
